Meander through shady maple groves and discover acres of peaceful woodlands.
Everything moves a little slower here. Change gears and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. Autumn in Vermont is like nothing else on Earth.
In winter, just step out the back door to access miles of cross-country and snowshoe trails.
The house was once an Inn on the old Stage Coach road that used to run to Springfield. It is delightfully furnished, reflecting the long history of this special property. The guest rooms face the rising sun and enjoy incredible unbroken views over 25 forested miles into New Hampshire. The only lights visible at night are the flickering stars.
Our main guest room has a romantic four-poster canopy queen bed. For larger groups, a second upstairs bedroom with king bed is available, and the ground level music room has a comfortable sofa bed if additional space is needed.
Breakfast can be served on our sunny deck overlooking the garden during the summer, or in our snug kitchen nook in winter or inclement weather. Whenever possible, we will incorporate fruits and vegetables from our own garden, and fresh eggs from our happy hens into your breakfast. Feed the fish in the trout-pond (or take a little swim with them!), or help carry buckets of maple sap from the woods during sugar season).
Join Aimée each morning for pre-breakfast yoga and meditation in our warm, tranquil studio or, if weather permits, with our toes in the lush green grass. Your retreat includes an afternoon yoga session to refresh you for your evening activities, and nightly candlelight yoga that will help you unwind for a peaceful night's sleep.
